Sehr guter Torrontes

Schöner "erwachsener" Weisswein. Geschmack nach angenehmen Kräutern, dezenten Aprikosen, Honigblüte mit viel Mineralität. Schmeckt nach Muskat mit leicht alkoholischer Note. Sehr angenehm, Empfehlung.

Tukma Gran Torrontés 2019
Grape variety:100% TorrontésTasting notes:This wine is a rare example of the Torrontés grape, as this variety is not usually aged in oak barrels. This wine has a light yellow color with greenish hues. On the nose, ripe aromas of apricots and rose petals with hints of honey and menthol stand out. Also, and thanks to its aging in barrels for 6 months, this wine has subtle aromatic notes of vanilla and toast. On the palate, it is a wine with character, delicious flavor and a long, balanced finish.Serving temperature: 9 - 12° C

What is so special about South American wine?

Wines from South America have been arousing enormous interest among wine consumers and connoisseurs around the world for decades. This is mainly due to the typicality of the soils and the production techniques, which allow the different varieties of white and red wine to be produced in a special and unique way. We can appreciate this in wines from Argentinawines from Chile and wines from Uruguay.
The geography of these countries is very diverse, and is influenced not only by the spectacular Andes mountain range, at whose foot the largest number of vineyards in Argentina and Chile are located, but also by the sea breezes and the influence of the Atlantic Ocean, which characterizes Uruguayan vineyards so much.

White wine from Argentina:

Among the Argentine white wines we find a unique grape in the world: Torrontés, followed by Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillón, among others.

White wine from Uruguay:

Among the white wines of this country we can distinguish mainly Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Moscatel.

White wine from Chile:

Among the white wines of Chile we find excellent Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Riesling, among others.

Designation of origin and geographical indication:

In all these countries there are regulations that, particularly in each one, have allowed over the years the creation of geographical indications and denominations of origin. Always respecting local regulations regarding the combination of vines and terroirs, the inventiveness of winegrowers in the production of Blends and Cuvees, both red and white, and of sparkling and rosé wines, stands out.
In Andenweine you can also find internationally awarded wines from Argentina, Uruguay and Chile.
